This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Apex Shop (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website, buy a license for our WordPress plugins Apex Optimizer, Custom Popup or DeepPress AI, activate a license key or contact support, and how we use and protect it.
1. Data we collect
- Order data. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, the Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing address, payment details and tax information. We do not receive or store your card or payment credentials. We receive order information needed to deliver your purchase, such as your email address, name, country, the product and variant you bought, and your license key.
- License activation data. When a Plugin checks its license, our license server receives the license key, the website domain, the Plugin identifier, the request time and the IP address of the requesting server. We do not receive your website content.
- Support messages. If you contact us on Telegram, we receive your Telegram username and the content of your messages and attachments.
- Website logs. Our web server records standard technical data (IP address, requested page, browser user agent, time) for security and troubleshooting.
2. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The embedded Lemon Squeezy checkout is provided by Lemon Squeezy and may set its own cookies or similar technologies, which are governed by Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy.
3. How we use data and why
- To deliver your purchase, issue and verify license keys, provide downloads, updates and support (performance of a contract).
- To prevent fraud, key sharing and abuse of the license server and to keep our systems secure (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
- To respond to your requests (legitimate interests or your consent).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run the Service: Lemon Squeezy (payments and order management), our hosting provider (servers), Telegram (support communication) and, where we send license emails, our email delivery provider. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights. These providers may process data in countries outside your own; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
5. What the Plugins do with your data
The Plugins run on your own WordPress website. Apart from the license check described above, they do not send your website’s content to us. Some features (for example, AI text or image generation in DeepPress AI) send content to third-party providers that you choose and configure with your own API keys. We do not receive that data; the provider’s terms and privacy policy apply, and you are responsible for the lawful use of such features, including informing your own users where required.
6. Retention
We keep order and license data for as long as needed to provide the Service, handle support and refunds, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Web server logs are kept for a short period (typically up to 14 days) unless needed to investigate abuse. Support conversations are kept as long as necessary to resolve your request and for a reasonable time afterwards.
7. Security
We protect data with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, rate limiting and monitoring. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, in the EEA, the UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. For payment and billing data held by Lemon Squeezy, you can also contact Lemon Squeezy directly. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
